mr. william was OFF the WALL today. i can definitely tell it's a full-moon. that said, we had lots of fun...playing, running up and down the hallway, climbing our baby gate (*sigh*), unrolling an entire roll of paper towels throughout the house... :)

i like this picture....just wish that window pane were straight. i'm a stickler for straight lines; anything wonky bugs me. oh well.

mr. william has learned how to say 'car'. he knows a few words now...'mama' was first (of course!), and he's been saying that for about 5 or so months, but with 'car', he's just going monkeys! that's all he says..."car, car, car, car, car..."

it's adorable...but good grief, i hope he learns some new words super soon :)

i took a video of him talking today...but it's too long for flickr. it's on my facebook page for all who are on there.

p.s. this is an outtake from friday. i didn't do much post-processing on it. i didn't even smooth my skin over to hide my freckles , which always makes me nervous. i added a little color pop and left it at that. simplicity is a good thing.

today was SUCH a good day. peanut was with his grandmother all day, so i slept in super late, rode around and took a bunch of really poopy pictures, danced around the house to michael jackson music, and enjoyed a long-awaited phone date with miss daynna :) it was nice to just relax for an afternoon.

we're under all sorts of tornado watches and warnings tonight. metro atlanta is currently getting slammed, which means we'll be getting it in an hour or two....eep!

Week 41/52--Retro BAM

a certain growing peanut is keeping me on my toes these days...climbing furniture, scooting away from me at rapid speed, getting into EVERYthing. today, we fingerpainted, played outside, danced to the beach boys, and smeared carrots and pasta all over mom. as much as i enjoy these days, i'm looking forward to him spending tomorrow with his grandmother. i plan on sleeping until noon...at the very least. and taking a bubble bath. and eating ice cream. and watching adult movies...oh, wait! no. i mean like movies for adults...not *adult* movies...*snort* ok, maybe i'll watch some of those too...

yes, i'm leaving before i say something else stupid :P

mr. wills kept me super busy today with his silliness, so y'all get one from the archives tonight.

today was good...
aside from an old lady accosting me at the grocery store for being a teenage mother, nothing much of note happened (by the by, i'll be 30 this year...i am no teenage mother). oh, and we're getting some pretty poopy weather today. the super severe stuff is supposed to hit around 2am, so we may be spending the night in the basement tonight...ick.
