Google "meander quilting" images and find one you like then draw it on paper over and over until your hand gets the feel of how to do it then try again. Having said that, my meander quilting is not too good!

It looks really amazing - well done. I can't FMQ write or draw, but I am pretty good with the meandering/stipple. I like to move the fabric the way I write, from left to right. When I come to the other end, I turn the fabric, so that I am moving from left to right again. I would be working on an approx. 4" to 6" wide area depending on the quilt size.
