A storm made it's way to the California coast from New Zealand and combined with "favorable" winds to generate 20+ foot waves at the wegde in Newport beach. Loads of people turned out to watch and it was a sight to behold.
Unfortunately I didn't have a long lens so I had to crop WAY tighter than I wanted to get a comp I was happy with. Lesson learned.
