White Marmot at Moose Falls, Yellowstone National Park.

Anyone else ever seen a white marmot? I was wondering if this is natural, or this little guy had a special gene for his coloring.
I think I got more photo's of him than I did of Moose Falls.

Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

I still have some images to post from our Grand Teton/Yellowstone trip from last June/July. I wish I can go again this year... but, I'm also thinking of visiting Olympic National Park this summer. It would be less expensive to take the family.

Anyway, I was blown away from Inspiration Point, there were rolling clouds casting shadows on the canon. It made for some fun shooting.

Newport Coast, California

I got to go play yesterday with my new camera! Boy was it fun! I got a decent sky, some nice wave action, no people around to spoil the shot, it was great!

This is not an HDR, I used 3 Lee Filters for this shot. I was perched on this small platform of a rock, but couldn't stay because of the rising tide.

I took a well deserved break from designing a cookbook to try out the new camera on a few of my little hummingbirds on a cloudy afternoon.

This branch is favored by the hummers, since it is close to the feeder. The actually fight over it. This female is watching a male Anna that is flying too close.

Well, I only have a few minutes! I've been working on a large graphic design job for the past two weeks, and have a bit more to go. But I wanted to catch up on flickr!

So. Here it is! My first picture taken with my long, long awaited NEW CANON 5D mark ll. (now I hear rumors of a mark lll coming out!) But, I don't care! Now the bummer part is I have hardly got to use it. The other bummer part is, I didn't get to take full advantage of this AMAZING SUNSET. I was so excited to get down to the beach and get what looked like was going to be the best sunset of the year. As soon as I got to the coast, not even 200 yards from the water, was this huge wall of low fog. I had to scramble to find another vantage point. Well, the foreground is lacking here, but the sky isn't.
