ASC Carols
An invitation to the Christmas Carol Service for 2008. It will be used to invite church and non-churched folk (in an conservative society), with the emphasis on the person 'inviting' speaking the words of welcome rather than having everything 'said' on the leaflet.
Does it work for you?

And I should have mentioned...due to budget constraints, this can only be printed on the colour printer/copier!

It feels solid. Doesn't seem like the most exciting night, but the design is solid.

I'm not really feeling the color scheme.

I'm pleased with the "solid" comment as I'm guessing that Carol Nights in Northern Ireland and where you Studio Muntz, are different (!)—no high energy, laser light show in this land. It's a traditional (read: very traditional) service of 9 lessons. To communicate "exciting" would be misleading, although it's very enjoyable.
MountainDewJack, what colours would you recommend? I can't use green or orange as those colours mean something unhelpful in this society...and red is everywhere...
I'm playing around with this

I would suggest using black instead of grey for the main color.

@smock+dog: Totally understand :) I think you've combined traditional with very good design.
Word of caution, we do all our printing in-house (well, like 90% of it), and you may have issues with your gray. It might be better to work in some traditional color where the gray is (maybe a red with texture (helps with color variations).

Is it just me, or does the "All Saints Church" text look a lot like the Harry Potter font? I can't see a big enough size to be too sure. Just what I noticed.
