This is what exists between Lake Nicol and Lake Harris. A small gorge exists below the Lake Nicol Dam and gradually widens as it approaches Lake Harris.

Turkey Creek Falls
I was surprised at how beautiful it was. Alabama has a lot of falls that just aren't publicized... but maybe that's a good thing.
And yes, the grass was that color. It's Spring, grass is allowed to look like it's illuminated by neon lights.
