Remember Remember... the May Day
I was following the May Day protest when I saw this girl. She was
hiding her face behing a Guy Fawkes mask, but it did not lower her
expressivity.
I like to think that behind that mask there is more than flash, there
is an Idea... and Ideas are Bulletproof!

Great photograph. I think its the V mask from the V for Vendetta film/comics, im not sure if it was available before. This must have been one of those good feeling moments when you find something by chance and know it will work, and work it has ! Realy good colours and great post-capture processing. One to be proud of :)

Its shots like this that really grab my attention. Its class. The face mask looks mint and the person under it is a dream to capture on camera. For me the shot would have been better if in black and white to really tone down the colour of the skin and wall behind her. The hair,tatts and badges are all perfectly clear. Nice capture really good shot.

Its a really good photo, and could also used for photojournalism(being a protest and all). When I immedietly looked at the photo, I recognized the quality of the shot. The composition was good, the subject well captured and made an impact. Hoever on closer analysis, I felt something seemed to be missing.
I think the wall could use some dodging in some places. you can see some light and some shade on the wall but I think highlighting those differences would change the shot quite alot. Its only a small change, but when you change the background, you can change the atmosphere of the shot.
I also liked the suggestion of B&W, but would still require dodging and burning.

This is one of those "one in a thousand" photo. I saw her very late and the only thing I did was turning towards her and click. I was walking, the camera was in "Av" and I just had the luck to be in the right place in the right time.
