lofty. good flash exposure on the skater, the rest is dark. not bad for just starting out.

that looks a huge gap, although the position of the skater is not absolutely right for my... don´t know maybe it´s because of the wide lens, but i think you should have been much closer to him... although if you ve done this we couldn´t appreciate how large his ollie is... don´t know, maybe a better photographer could say if i am wrong or if i´m right what´s not perfect with this. Anyway it´s a great photo

Any closer to the skater and you probably would have been eating the board. I know how it goes with thewide angle shots, It's very tricky to get close enough to fill the frame. I think this shot is great.

its an ollie. hes going over the grass a bit too. pretty much exaxtly where he's facing is where he was going. he landed that one too. it was a huge huge gap.probably 10 feet or more and only about 3.5 feet elevation if that. however big 4 stairs are.

Good shot. I'd suggest the same as Brian though.. Get waaay closer! If it's a huge as I think, even a long lens shot from the side would look bangin'.

Just another suggestion, if you did go back and reshoot it with the same ambient and flash lighting, why not try one where you use a way slower shutter speed and get some streaks? Just a thought. Either way, it's rad.
