Digging through my old clipping file this evening and I found this amazing photograph.

Man, you know you are so screwed when the doctor and nurse give you a look like this....

Doing a lot of early spring cleaning and I found this wonderful note card by artist Anita Theresa Lafond circa 1999. I got it somewhere in New York, and I loved her use of common recycled materials. (On the back of the card it said Ma's Rag Bag used without authorization).

When I got married in 2000, my wife and I hand made all our wedding invitations based on this idea of using everyday materials for collaged creations.

Someday I'll post some scans of those.

This was the promotional postcard for a March 1998 exhibit at The Electrokinetics Gallery in New York City called "Bonk Business Inc." Sorry about the scotch tape on the top left and right of the card, I had it hanging on my wall for years - thought it was so cool, just the kind of product I would have loved to actually use...

"Bonk Business Inc. is a fictitious industrial company with more than one hundred years of history, and was initiated in 1988 by the artist and graphic designer Alvar Gullichsen."
