This is Faya, our new doggy!

Sometimes things crosses your path and you know in your heart it's just right! Well that's what we felt when we heard about Faya.

She is four years old and comes from a very loving family. For some sad reasons they had to find a new home for her.

So there are two beardies in our household again and do we love it :-)

How Lucky

So many thoughts have been inspired
By the loss of a pet from earth retired.
My mind and heart still hug him within
That's why I write these words about him.
For even though he has gone away
The memories like music continue to play.
The music I hear is ever so sweet
With a comforting, soft and soothing beat.
Like the angelic voice of Sarah Brightman
Thoughts of him and my mood just lightens.
The thought of him brings twinkling eyes,
The thought of him turns frowns to smiles.
I look at his picture upon my desk
I think to myself he was the best!
So lucky was I to have such a pet
So lucky was I the two of us met.

Yesterday we had to let him go....

Thank you Moos for being the precious friend you were! We were so lucky to have had you in our lives.

This is Lazlo, an 18 year old young adult who we saw grow-up to a happy man with lots of plans and who couldn't wait to get his drivers lincense. A few months ago he got his license but unfortunatelly he cannot drive a vehicle..... He is diagnosed with a very rare disease called Gorham disease or as they also call it: "disappearing bone disease...." At this moment he misses three ribs and his situation is life-threatening....
Because there is so little known about this disease (there are less than 200 cases in the world), we are all full of questions. Please would you be so kind to ask around with your family and friends if anyone is familiar with this disease. If so we would very much appriciate it if we got in contact with this person.
