Pukekos
This is a shot I took today using my N95 mobile phone. It is of the local family of Pukekos. I counted 13 of them today, and this breeding season they have had at least six young.

Young Pukeko
This is a young pukeko that I have been watching grow up at a local lake. He is losing his fluff, and getting the blue cloak of an adult.

Frost
This is a weird frost pattern on my car found early one morning. Usually frost is even and sort of fluffy. This frost is quite evidently crystalline in shape, like a fractal.
