sweetpea shawl

this is the sweetpea shawl from the HH book. I made it with a beige linen - soft and pretty, but very slippery to work with.
a few observations for anyone who's thinking of making one:
-remember to always check for corrections to the patterns on this website:
    www.bust.com/knithappens/snbhh-errata.pdf
for this pattern there is a correct of 1 ch before and after each shell pattern starting on the 3rd row.
    - the pattern starts with a chain of 202 stitches. make sure you keep those stitches nice and loose. I had to frog the first 3 rows and start over because I'd made to tight a chain and it all started getting wobbly.
    - on one side you have to slip stitch to the middle dtr of the first shell. make sure you keep those slip stitches loose, or the shawl will skew one way.
    - the dtr's are very loose and loopy by nature. I ended up using a smaller hook (5mm instead of 5.5) because it was looking sloppy to me. of course that depends on the yarn you're using too!

    have fun! :)
