Defences

Defences

Another shot from the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline! I like this as you can see quite clearly the defensive ditches of this promontory fort. Taken on a bit of a rough day weather wise!

Excavations indicate the fort was constructed during the Iron Age. Remains were found of 8 roundhouses. Finds indicated the site was in use from the 1st to 4th Centuries AD. There were also finds indicating iron, bronze and glassworking took place on the site.

A Large Organ

A Large Organ

To Listen

Taken on a guided tour of Manchester University. Grabbed shot (so it's a bit on the bonk) of Whitworth Hall where the graduation ceremony takes place. I was most impressed by the size of the organ (I will NEVER grow up lol) :-)

1/15 s and hand held. Quite impressed with myself actually :-)

And they could have laid out the chairs symmetrically!!!

Broken into Mounds

Broken into Mounds

Loved this old ruin - must have been quite grand at one time!!! The doorway was arched although you can't really tell from this side!
