Table Mountain

Table Mountain

Yesterdays trek was to the Iron Age Hill Fort, Crug Hywel otherwise known as Table Mountain which lies above the town of Crickhowell (whose name is the anglicised version of Crug Hywel). Steep walk up but so worth it for the views. Light was rubbish though so photography wasn't the best. I have done very little walking in the Black Mountains, I need to rectify this, I will be going back!!

P.S The teeny weeny figure on the side of the fort is my Ryan, at 18 years of age and a long legged 6ft 2, he is always miles ahead of his Mum :-)

Mum's Been to Ice Land

Mum's Been to Ice Land

Just love the view of Pen y Fan from Fan Frynych - and I only slipped and fell once, and that was on mud and not ice :-)

Some Say in Ice

Some Say in Ice

Had to lie down for this shot, not my best idea!!! Thought it looked like a crazy hair do :-)!

Did toy with the idea of cloning out the flare but toying was as far as I got!

Frosty Reflections

Frosty Reflections

By popular demand, without peeps :-)

By the time I got me, my camera and the tripod through the gap in the fence, the reflection had started to break down a little! Was totally gone about a minute after taking this !!
