      yea, me too. I left a couple of these in philadelphia and waited far too long to get a new one. I missed the mud.

      congrats. i just bought a little espresso maker like this today...only a differen style. its ceramic on top :-) I can't wait to try it!

      hrm. the one i bought only has italian instructions so i made a huge mess this morning...you might need to give me some pointers, seven ;-)

      did it explode? put the water level just below the relief valve, don't pack the coffee grounds down, don't set the flame too high, and make sure the rubber gasket is there and in good shape. should work fine then.

      yes it exploded, how did you know??? hahaha. thanks for the tips. mine looks a lot different than this one, but im sure it works the same.

      when it starts making a loud gurgly sound you should lift the lid a little and watch and when it's just spewing foam it's probably ready. you can also just watch the level and guestimate. works for me anyway...
