What I want is THAT feature on my cell phone with a decent lens! Although the disposable camera has the "I can take it on the roller coaster and hold it above my head" advantage.

I played with the old ones you had to hack, that was fun, especially since digital cameras with video were more expensive back then, however, I think this device is too expensive, the differential between this and a digital camera that does decent video is not that great right now, as camera prices keep dropping...

Yep, I'm gonna stick with my SD800 until my laptop dies and I can get one with a firewire and that opens up the possibilities ...

I have one. The video and sound are not bad but no one will mistake it for HD. It is close to the video capture on digital cameras--I have a SD400 and use it for video every so often.
But I carry it biking and find that I worry about it less than if I had a more expensive digicam in my pocket.
One difference--The flash memory is not upgradeable.

Ah come on . I ain't doing no bungee jumping .. I do that enough on my blog. On another note, I"m trying to convince the sharing foundation folks to buy like 2-3 of these and take over the Cambodia next month.
