• Hello Pepper!

Haunting prospect

The garden front of Kings Weston House grows evermore wild and unkempt. The house has almost disappeared from view along much of it and only appears at the end of the overgrown avenue half way down the length. Adds to the atmosphere of the place i guess

Nicely framed. My fear of asymmetry may be unfounded.

Could imagine it as the cover of a scary novel! It's lovely but oh, so cold!

Dave, you make me feel creepy. instead of great future prospect, you wrote a prospect of haunted building. lol. OK, it will be a great history of haunted mansion, pal. let me know when it is in YouTube, will ya?

Like the haunting feel of the shot Dave. I am sure if you look through the window you'll see Miss Havisham.

I do not know why, but when I saw this beautiful image, I immediately thought of Proust: A la recherche du temps perdu ...

ah, yes. Rebecca! I know wat you mean. Actually this reminds me somewhat of some of the Victorian architecture in the Souther States. All it is missing is some Spanish moss.

Ryan. You are very kind. Thank you very much. You know that means a lot. Cheers

    thank you

You are too kind Matthew. I have to say that I didn't think that I would be able to make anything with this shot. The contrasts seemed too high and the colour insipid. I am really stunned by the response it has received. Thanks mate

I like the angle and entrance of the house position in the picture... nothing is "centered" as usual ... it's an awesome shot! :) The colors are really neat too!
