These crazy cuckoos have figured out how to get up on the storage bins so they can look out the closet window and bark at all who venture near (or far) from the house....even the friendly milkman driving by. :)

the carb lover's chicken pot pie

We've been making recipes out of the Carb Lover's cookbook since January 1st. Most of them have been pretty tasty. Tonight's one and only complaint was "where's the crust?". Actually, she said a litany of things regarding crust: what is that...this is not crust...I miss the other crust....now I just want to bake some cookies (I have no idea where that one came from)....this just ruins it....this just isn't the same.....etc.

It might look pretty, but just so you all know, phyllo dough is not crust. ;)
