I've known Nicole since primary school so it was a pleasure to tag along and capture some great moments at her wedding. Like most of the weddings I've covered last year, the weather picked up at the right moment and gave us some great light at Leith Hall.

Up early (by my standards) at the campsite in the north of Skye during a few weeks of Scottish summer touring.

This is pretty much all I've been doing for the last month - certainly not my usual bread and butter work but I've enjoyed a month almost feeling like I'm a proper wedding photographer. I've learned a few things and had a lot of fun shooting what I'm lucky enough to call a quite unique set of weddings.

Knockespoch House catches the last rays as a shadow creeps through the Suie Wood. The Tap O' Noth stands centre-stage on the horizon marking Rhynie and the edge of the Garioch.

Yes, there were lots of flies and no, I can't be bothered cloning them out yet..
