Romeochurch.com Sign Test
While we can't afford to replace the entire sign, we can change the insert.
This sign is in front of our church, a main road into and out of our community. Drivers are either accelerating to 55 as they leave town or the are decelerating to 35 as they enter town.
Thoughts? Other ideas?

looks nice,
don't underestimate painting a metal surface like that, do some light sanding to clean it up then brush on a flat back - $30 tops

Not sure if it is part of the brand colors, but I would ditch the yellow background and either make it a reverse black or make it white.
The font is kind of bothering me for romeochurch.com. It looks like it's being squeezed. I would go with a Futura Heavy maybe.

patrick- based on earlier feedback we got from the labs the font for romeochurch.com is now "century gothic" You think changing the size would make a big difference?
we4- actually... that frame does get repainted every spring. It might have just been the lighting, but it is currently flat black. The bottom base... when we do this insert we are also going to build up some brick landscaping and make the base into a flower/plant box up to the point where that conduit goes into the sign to backlight it.
Thanks for the feedback so far! Very helpful.

O... the color. We were looking for this to be a sand color. Did we miss the target there?
Can you give me a better color? Like the little code things I can stick into photoshop works best.

is it backlit? I'm looking for ideas too, our sign is 6x2 vinyl & pvc pipes

Yes, ours is backlit. There are fluorescent tubes in the housing. We're swapping out the traditional letter board for a printed piece of heavy duty plastic.
