Thursday was mostly more of the same from the previous days, with a shift at Reference thrown in. But I forgot to take a picture of anything while I was down there. Friday mornings I cover the Periodicals desk for several hours. It's usually very, very quiet--just a few regulars who wander in, nod their greetings, and set up at their favourite tables. It's a good time for tea. But then, when isn't?

This university will be having it's site visit for accreditation in November, so we're reviewing the new ACRL standards to see whether there's anything additional we can add at this point. But we'll also use these guidelines to improve in the long-term.

Committees are a part of the job. Today was a meeting of my one campus-wide committee, so I got a little walk in. Campuses are fun; you just never know what you'll see. And while I was taking this picture I overheard a woman talking about some great customer service she'd gotten. Wish I'd heard which office had provided it, so I could pass the kudos along.
