Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, I had some time to go through a number of my photos from 2011, and I found this one, which I had not processed.
This was taken in October 2011 at Sutro Baths. The weather was incredibly warm, with not even a slight breeze. The unseasonably warm conditions, combined with this brilliant sunset, made for a very rewarding evening out at the coast.
As I was setting up for this shot, three girls sat on the edge of the old Sutro Bath ruins to take in the sunset. I thought their silhouettes, along with their reflections in the water below made for a nice composition.

Stunning photograph. Love the colors and well controlled exposure. I've lived in the Bay Area for nearly 5 years and still have not made it to this place. You've inspired me.
