I've seen this composition before, but I had to try it for myself. I headed down to this spot a few weeks ago and took several photos, but I realized that it just didn't resonate with clear blue skies.
This past Sunday was looking promising, with high whispy clouds hovering over the Bay Area. Around sunset, I headed to this spot and set up with my Lee Big Stopper filter to create the streaks of clouds in the sky. I literally was able to get two photos before the fog came rushing in and turned this beautiful sky into a sea of white.
