the sun is playing hide and seek here, but our baby-garden is coming along. our first strawberry is almost ready to eat, lots of fresh herbs to contribute to meals and the lettuce is like the horn of pleanty. The tomatoes are stubbornly waiting for sun. meanwhile, we finally found half whisky barrels after only coming across faux plastic ones. who *wants* that, i ask you? anyway- it's the little bit of land we are allowed and we are putting it to use. cheers, all.

OK, i'm head-over-heals in love w/the new Photoshop, truly. I've always had a thing for texture (anyone who has seen enough of my posts here knows that) but now I'm creating textures just to use as layers in illustrations. Who knows maybe some of them will turn up in that fabled Etsy shop I keep babblin about. I hit some delays, but it's still in the works (no really). Meanwhile- I think i'll go join some texture and Photoshop groups here. If anyone has any suggestions- send 'em my way

I still have a few weeks left in my Photoshop trial so i think i'm going to spend the afternoon trying my hand at coloring this recent doodle. The weather isn't that great for being outside anyway right now, although I'm jonesing for another hike soon.

playing w/new tools is uber-fun though. i don't even care that this is sort of Fairy-like. it's effing cute.
