I've spent a couple of days in Pwllheli (North Wales) with family. I had a few new things I wanted to check out whilst I was there but through a combination of the weather, bad timing and general merriment I only got to one (which I will post but I wanted to break up the black and white in my stream).
Anyway after loading the car this morning I took the dog for a walk along the promenade where my wife's parents live. I did a double take when I walked past this path - the tide seemed unusually close to the dunes. I've photographed these walkways from the beach a few times but never this way. The weather was quite dull though and the water was choppy so I figured I'd go back and have another go at long exposure self portraits and I've caught one which I may post in the future.
Fortunately though, whilst there, my luck changed and the sun broke through the clouds for a few minutes. So I quickly fired off (well as quickly as you can with a long exposure) two shots. This was the better of them.
I hope you enjoy.
