Spider Web

This spider web was on my deck this morning I was trying to get the light reflecting off of this toward the camera as the sun was behind me.

I think this is quite interesting because off the water reflecting the light as white.

Cool shot, but I dont know if it looks interesting or more like a defect.

Nicely framed -- good cropping. Would've been nice to have had the whole web sharp, though.

interesting shot and crop (or format, anyway). the colour pattern is a bit monotonous, though - I know, in those circumstances you're not the one in charge to choose the colours... but to let it be more interesting AND more nicely composed at one time, I think better to cut the top of it. the resulting crop would be a more standard one, but it will offer a wider range of colours. I added a note on which kind of crop I'm talking about.

While not the best shot, the range of colors, especially with the rainbow, makes this an interesting image. I disagree, however, that the image should be cropped. The top portion contains green, but with the proposed crop, the green there would've been completely removed, and thus the only color left would've been the rainbow. But I can't see through the white note, so I must mouse off the image to see what is under the note. This is not bad image, though!

Striking tunnel of Bucky Fuller geometry with this crop! The blurred faintness of the lower left corner and center of the web causes my eye to strain for completion of the pattern, though, and that's probably not ideal. Great effort, though.

Nice concept and interesting crop. Difficult to say if this was the best way to frame the scene, but I guess the result works. Lovely blurry colour tones. Perhaps you could have adjusted the saturation a little bit to make the colours more vivid.

The white do work well here. You have a great eye for such natural masterpieces. I love the symmetry.
