banksy
just read about this.
dunno if everyone else knows and this is repetitive. this guy banksy,
a street/graffiti artist from britain, put up his own work at four
major museums in new york, the MET, MOMA, Brooklyn Museum, &
Natural History Museum. some pieces stayed up for days while others
were soon noticed and taken down. all paintings are political(in
addition to the already political act of hanging his own work in major
museums) and address life during wartime. check out the official banksy site for pics.(photo from the NY times)
