Wolf's Lair, Hollywood

Wolf's Lair, a beautiful estate built by L. Milton Wolf in the late 1920s. The main house contains carved beamed ceilings, winding staircases. Outside the dining room is a grotto waterfall that empties into a pool painted black, making it appear like a lagoon.

Original photo from lapl.org photo collection. House still exists, I haven't seen it.

It's probably on private property...belongs to a movie star or something.
