I've changed the style of my eyes, slightly and am going for more gentle facial features for my girls.

I had the most amazing dream the other night, where everyone's bodies were replaced with everyday objects.
At one o'clock in the morning I grabbed my sketchbook and went wild with ideas!

This is my first painting inspired by that dream :)

My art is taking a new direction... following the style I found in Swoop.
Looser, messier & more emotional.

It feels more natural, less stilted and forced.

And I've been so productive using this style over the weekend, finishing this painting on Friday and another on Sunday, which I'll upload sometime soon.

It's been nice working in a larger format, too.

I'd planned to create a painting for my niece Ayla's 21st birthday, and when she saw this one on my facebook profile she asked me for it :)
