Masen is a 15 year-old red nosed pit bull. He was sitting in a baby stroller because his brain was damaged and he couldn't walk properly. I learned later that this was because he'd been poisoned. Here, he watches the sun set over the Hudson River with his doting owner, Patricia. Patricia is a grandmother, first generation immigrant from the Dominican Republic.

Truly a touching story. Owners like this women are the majority of pitbull owners: responsible, caring, and loving. These dogs are not just animals, they're apart of our families.
