Oak Alley, Louisiana
Oak Alley Plantation verkörpert wohl am besten die Antebellum-Zeit, in
welcher der alte Süden noch von Southern Belles & Gentlemen
repräsentiert wurde. Nahe am Mississippi gelegen bietet es einen
herrlichen Einblick in die Zeit vor 1865 als der Süden der USA noch
reich und mächtig war.
Wir besuchten im Jahr 2000 "The deep old South".
Fotografiert mit Canon EOS 5 & Sigma Objektiv 17-35mm (in 24mm
Einstellung) Belichtung: 1/125sek.
Digitalisiert mit Minolta DiaScanner, EBV mit PSP X

Really wonderfully seen! The tunnel/archway/frame formed by the trees is fantastic, and so is the direct, geometric line in the center of the path, leading directly to the door. Really great balance and harmony.
