Well, Michael took me off to ComicPalooza downtown, and I had a good time. Was nice hearing celebrities talk. I even got to shake Kevin's hand and talk a brief moment with him (I also have his autograph).
You may remember him from Hercules and Kull the Conqueror (among other things he's acted in). I daresay he's one of my heroes...and seems like a down to earth person also.
Must apologize for the zoom'd cam phone and thus poor quality...but I wanted to share my excitement.

I had to edit out power transmission lines....because I live right behind a major conduit (it sizzles and crackles even)...and the center sunflower gave me issues getting the lines out (kinda messy and not good), but I still thought I'd post it as the first thing I took with the REAL camera in Texas.
This is right in the backyard....40 feet from my driveway or so...on a bare adjoining lot.

Well, I saw lots and lots of blooming composites. These, silphiums, sunflowers, Mexican Hats, and some others that I wasn't sure of.
I stopped and shot this with my phone...and then edited/cropped/blurred in Photoshop. Not bad...and true to form, I had no idea of the lady bug.

Well, we had apparently to go to the comic book store. I went....at least I gave you something unusual for the photostream....from my Android phone.

I just wanted to drop something in the stream to let everyone know that I'm ?happily? in Houston and alive and well. I haven't seen any of these yet (not even a small anole cousin of theirs), though I haven't had leisure to get out of the housing subdivision.
The move has been very traumatic on Arson (my Aussie). He didn't eat (or umm what happens after eating) for like 4 days during move and after. He finally started eating again Saturday and made an explosive pooh that evening.
My furniture was delivered last night, and it'll be good tonight to be able to cook things again.
I'm at work and have lots of shaking up things and making my mark at work. I'm waiting on shaking till I assess their needs a bit more...I am too ignorant to do a good job just now...but I'm getting ideas!
I hope to get my camera out and maybe take Arson to the dog park some evening this week. I figured he needed to destress a bit (from his worry about being abandoned) before I exposed him to another new thing.
