This tiny buttercup has just opened today, the first of this season. I should have at least 50 (if not 100) of them popping during the next two weeks or so.
Very welcome...though they have to be photographed when the sun is shining on them (or they're not open).

This is about a month later blooming out...this is the native H, vernalis (the winter flowering one)

A pretty poor photo (I'm sorry), but the photographer just goofed up...and the wind has since dryed them out.
However, I'm back and I think my mother is recovering (I hope). Thank you for well-wishes.
It's been an atypical winter (warm and dry)

Well, this is what I threw together for supper last night...I served it with a curry gravy on it. I thought it was pretty enough (in it's own way) to put a photo out. Hope there's no vegetarians in my stream that are offended :0
I'm going to have to disappear off the internet for a bit. My mother had a car wreck about 2 weeks ago, and is not recovering it seems. So, I must go visit for an unknown time and see how things go. I'll have no internet access there, so I apologize for missing your great photos for some period of time.

This is a revisit of a photo that I loved from 2007. I've reuploaded the original processed image (non HDR) that I loved so much and will make it visible in the comments.
It seems it's always worth trying out old RAWs on new software.
