The Seat Of Political Power

    If you are planning on coming to Washington DC for the swearing in of Barack Obama, I hope you get a better view than this. This is on 4th Street looking east and really, one of the closer places to the Capitol on the Mall. They've brought in literally hundreds of these portable toilets and put them all over the National Mall. There weren't many tourists this weekend, I guess because they're all coming next weekend. It was nice to hit the museums and not have to deal with large crowds. I was crossing the mall with Caroline, going from the National Gallery to the American Indian Museum and saw this view and just had to take a picture of it. I guess this shot could have some political meaning, but I think I'll stick with "Welcome Tourists!"
