The top strip, Lenin in psychoanalysis, revisits some prevous MvF panels, while the middle strip is based on a drawing that wasn't planned to be part of the Myth vs. Food story, but fit nicely. (I'm proud to this day of these three caricatures.) In the bottom strip, the experimentation with styles continues with a slice of High Cubism, ca. 1916, in the lower left.

Finally by this set (which chronologically follows strip three of the MvF #1 set), a story begins to develop. A chase, even! The themes of basketball, art and representation, simulations, advertising, psychology and surrealism continue to haunt the characters, not to mention riffs on the medium of comic strips. This is the last we see of Frieda as gendarme, and the only time Lenin acknowledges his political sympathies with the historic Lenin.

This was the first of the formal "Myth vs. Food" comics, and is a kind of prelude: it doesn't fit in the chronology (which is pretty asynchronous, admittedly). Plus the whole strip is so far out anyway... some of these ideas get revisited in the last full-page MvF panel, coming soon.
