We were supposed to reach this spot around 5.30AM for sunrise, and according to google maps the trailhead to this arch was a couple of hours drive from our hotel in Moab UT. We promptly woke up at 3.00AM and started driving at 3.30AM only to realize that it was just a 40minute drive. Being the day b4 new moon, it was pitch dark out there, we still decided to hike the trail with the aid of flashlight. After gazing at the star-studded sky for a while, we scouted a good spot and shot a couple of test pictures when the twilight started to show up in the eastern sky, and this is what we saw.
