• could you make these bullets gold/yellow? it would add some accuracy and color - Malydilnar
  • love this part here. as soon as i saw it, i instantly knew what pieces you used for it - Raptor Fett GP
  • I don't know if the rotor sag is intentional or not,but it definitely adds a nice touch of realism. - sandy_cash
  • Any way to replace this with a curved slope? If you used a black one, I know it moves the color boundary further back than it should be, but I think I'd prefer to see these studs gone. - sandy_cash
  • Very nice. - Tim Ltd
  • The tread piece there only comes in black and brown. Besides which, gold or yellow would be far less accurate. - [Carter]
  • its lego. its supposed to have studs. - Raptor Fett GP
  • I agree with the color (that it would add nice contrast), but carter's example pretty clearly shows that the bullets are inside a casing, which is what I'm trying to represent with the chain.
  • I will give the curve a try. I am hesitant to do that since the perfectness of the curve will clash with the chunky section directly above it.
  • I hear you - maybe replacing the last black stud with another cheese slope might not clash as much while still smoothing out the profile just slightly. - sandy_cash
  • Intentional is probably too strong a word, but it is close to accurate.
  • oh, ok, I see, I remmember seeing some Huey pics in vietnam and they had the bullets open and not in casings, but no one really knows whats right cause that could of just been applied in the field - Malydilnar
  • This curve here looks a thousand times better than the cheese slopes. - [TLB]
  • Why is this side tiled but not the other? - [TLB]
  • the leading edge of each blade is tiled. That sort of give the wing an airfoil cross-section.
  • I actually perfer the angled version. - -Hamilton-
  • Well, since the cheese slopes were 1x1, they looked messy IMO. - [TLB]
  • That will not work. There is no connection point there if you mean the stud right in the front. I think it´s great like it is. - Kit Bricksto
  • prefered this when it was tiled... - Kit Bricksto
  • Neat! - P3-K4
  • yeah Lego doesn't look right with out studs - LegoBuilderPaul97

Huey Gunship

Newer Older

I added some connections to the side that can support rockets, minigun and machine gun while still allowing the doors to close.

also, I added the top windows to the cockpit. They're dk blue, not green like they should be.

Time to call this one done.

Take a close look at the next picture. Also try adjusting the brightness of some of the pictures (I didn't do too good a job with some of them!). That's really all I can offer in terms of help though.
