could you make these bullets gold/yellow? it would add some accuracy and color - Malydilnar
love this part here. as soon as i saw it, i instantly knew what pieces you used for it - Raptor Fett GP
I don't know if the rotor sag is intentional or not,but it definitely adds a nice touch of realism. - sandy_cash
Any way to replace this with a curved slope? If you used a black one, I know it moves the color boundary further back than it should be, but I think I'd prefer to see these studs gone. - sandy_cash
I agree with the color (that it would add nice contrast), but carter's example pretty clearly shows that the bullets are inside a casing, which is what I'm trying to represent with the chain.
I will give the curve a try. I am hesitant to do that since the perfectness of the curve will clash with the chunky section directly above it.
I hear you - maybe replacing the last black stud with another cheese slope might not clash as much while still smoothing out the profile just slightly. - sandy_cash
Intentional is probably too strong a word, but it is close to accurate.
oh, ok, I see, I remmember seeing some Huey pics in vietnam and they had the bullets open and not in casings, but no one really knows whats right cause that could of just been applied in the field - Malydilnar
This curve here looks a thousand times better than the cheese slopes. - [TLB]
Ok i tried making this with the instructions on brickshelf. here is the link www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4737962 I need help with the back end ( picture shown is link) and i was wondering if you could help me.
Take a close look at the next picture. Also try adjusting the brightness of some of the pictures (I didn't do too good a job with some of them!). That's really all I can offer in terms of help though.
