A better place?

These three cairns have been here many years. They do change subtly each year as people add and take away, or the weather brings decay. But their solidity and permanence impresses.

The sheep

I had been walking along what was obviously a very busy sheep track for a while, when I came to the head of this valley. Before me dozens of sheep stopped in their tracks as they were coming up the hill, and I could see it on their faces; "He's on our track". As I went down they all moved aside before rejoining the track higher up - thanks chaps!
