The GT2 RS develops 620 PS (456 kW; 612 hp) and 700 N·m (516 lb·ft) of torque and weighs 70 kg (150 lb) less than the standard GT2, allowing for a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph) and 0–100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration of 3.4 seconds.[5] The GT2 RS clocked a record-breaking time of 7 minutes and 18 seconds around the Nürburgring-Nordschleife track (claimed by Porsche), one of the fastest times in modern production car history.
In 2010 lanceerde Porsche ook de GT2 RS, de ultieme circuitwagen van Porsche. Porsche haalt uit de 3,6 liter grote Twin Turbo boxer motor 620 pk die via een handgeschakelde versnellingsbak naar de achterwielen worden gestuurd. Deze GT2 RS zou volgens Porsche een rondje Nürburgring-Nordschleife doen in 7 minuten en 18 seconden en de sprint van 0-100 km/u duurt slechts 3,5 s. Na 9,8 s wordt de 200 km/u bereikt en na 28,9 s de 300km/u. De topsnelheid bedraagt 330 km/u.

tsja is wel duidelijk herkenbaar bij mij:
Je bent veertig en je verliest je kop aan een meisje van een jaar of 25. Je koopt een Ferrari en zegt je baan radicaal vaarwel. Stereotype midlifecrisis. Een kwart van de mannen heeft er last van. :-)
