of course the eyes are to die for... but what makes this photo is also the fact that you can see her smiling underneath the veil.

We had a lot of fun taking this photo: a sandstorm, she wearing my shawl to protect her face, the fact that she looks muslim whereas she is Hindu... all the confusion.

Ongelovelijk wat een fantastische foto. De ogen zijn zo ontzettend mooi; er is ooit eens iemand erg beroemd geworden met zo´n foto, die op de cover van de National Geographic is komen te staan.
Ik zou hem voor de aardigheid nog eens gecropt op flickr plaatsen, net onder de neus en een stuk boven de ogen. Dan staat hij binnen twee dagen op nummer 1 in explore !
Ik had hem trouwens graag twee keer als favoriet aangemerkt ..
