On day 10 of our trip, we stayed at the Hermitage, a hotel with views of the mountains. Unfortunately, all that we saw were low-hanging gray clouds.
The next morning, as I awoke, rose, and peeked through the curtains, I could see that the clouds had lifted and the sky was starting to get a little color. I sprang into action, putting in my contact lenses in record time, fishing around in the suitcase for the tripod, mounting and setting up the camera, and running back to the bathroom for a towel to wipe the condensation off the glass.
And this is what I got, taken through the room window. In my pajamas. With no coffee.
