Jon D'Agostino is an American comic book artist best known for his work as penciler and inker for Archie Comics and Charlton Comics. He studied at the High School of Industrial Arts in New York City and at the Art Students League. He began his career as head colorist for Timely Comics in the 1940s. As an artist, he was present in Romantic Heart by Story Comics and in the horror titles of Master Publications.
Then in the 1950s and 1960s, he worked on many titles for Charlton, doing war stories (Attack, Fightin' Army), romance (Sweethearts), teen ('Freddy', 'My Little Margie') and funny animal work ('Pudgy Pig', 'Timmy the Timid Ghost'). In the 1960s and 1970s he was mainly active as inker and letterer for Archie Comics and Gold Key, in addition to his Charlton work. In the 1980s he focused on inking for Marvel and Archie, working on titles like 'G.I. Joe', 'Planet Terry' and 'Royal Roy'.
