Blue Heron Takeoff

Yet another butt shot of a bird. This one was at the Ridgefield refuge and made a protesting squawk on launch.

REDWING

Yet another attempt to catch these quick little guys taking off from the cattails. A little dark on this morning, so motion blurred on the bird, but did capture some fluff kicked off from the launch.

ST HELENS at Sunrise

A nice sunrise over Mt Saint Helens this morning. This image is a HDR composite and tone mapped. Still, not too far off from what I was looking at.

LOCOMOTIVE

Here is a front end shot of the Heisler logging locomotive at the Tillamook Air Museum. This is a single shot tone mapped (again, outrageously) with some dark clouds dropped in for effect (go figure, it was actually a nice sunny day on the coast on this day).

HUD Art

This monster of an art piece is about 4x6 feet, and is made up entirely of electronic and optical components of the Head-Up Displays (HUD) made at where I work. I shot this for an upcoming magazine article.
