• The FCP button bar. Buttons can be dragged from the Button List and saved here for quick access.
  • The patch panel. Drag the indicators on the left to the track you want to edit media to.
  • The mute and solo buttons. One for each audio track.
  • The green buttons can turn a whole track on and off. But beware, you will lose render files!
  • The locks ... lock tracks.
  • The Toggle Auto Select buttons toggle which tracks are affected when selecting with IN and OUT points.
  • More than one timeline can be open at once (unlike Avid) and they are indicated by tabs.
