High on Bokeh

The shinjyuku skyscraper area presents a wonderful chance to test the swirly bokeh of the pen f 42mm f1.2 lens. Crazy frame edge bokeh action.

TLR means Twin Lemon Reflex?

TLR means Twin Lemon Reflex?

Okay one is an apple, one a lemon but you know what I mean. The Mamiya C330f is topped by a chimney type loupe that makes focusing so much easier with up to 8x magnification. Not very pretty but does the job.

Arrived in Tokyo amidst pouring rain. And when it stopped the sky was just amazing. Good week ahead.

The three towers of earthly pleasures

The three towers of earthly pleasures

Looking across the bay, the Marina Bay Sands casino looks surreal at night. Brought in a lot of tourist dollars to our little country, but I for one cannot adopt a place that is so removed from the real world. I prefer to view it from this side of the bay.
