Michael Setting Our Cavern Line - Catfish Hotel

Michael Setting Our Cavern Line - Catfish Hotel

Michael was setting our cavern line and the sun was beaming down right on him. Was perfect for snap shot. We set cavern/cave lines so that we can find out way back out safely.

Devil's Den Scuba Diving

Devil's Den Scuba Diving

Went to Devil's Den this weekend to do some unofficial cave diving. This is probably the closest you'll get to cave diving as an OW certification diver. This is my dive buddy and I coming out of a small crevice with the sun shining back in. This was an incredible view, and this image just doesn't do it enough justice.

Check out the dive video.

Devil's Den History:
One of North America's most prehistoric places, Devil's Den -- an underground spring inside a dry cave in central Florida. The remains of many extinct animals from the Pleistocene Age (2 million - 10,000 years ago) were discovered at Devil's Den, including the bones of early man, dating back to 75,000 B.C. The pleasant year-around temperature of 72 degrees in the Den allows comfortable diving, winter or summer. On cold winter mornings you can see steam, like smoke, rising from the cave's chimney. Hence, the early settlers called the place Devil's Den. You'll find open water and cavern diving at its best & will be fascinated by the rock formations with stalactites and 33 million year old fossil beds, truly a natural wonder.

PSD Freebie - Facebook Template

PSD Freebie - Facebook Template

I've had to make numerous cover photo and profile image designs. It gets really annoying after awhile when you have to keep replicating your templates for facebook. So I've created a template for the facebook business pages (that can also be used for user pages) to help speed up my work flow, and maybe anyone else that wishes to use it.

There are a set of folders that have been color coded green. Use those folders to replace and adjust your images. Follow the text instructions on the guy's wall, and within the profile image box to correctly adjust and save your images. If there are any questions feel free to ask.

This template is the current facebook UI as of May 2nd, 2012.

Download it from my blog.

Photography Served - Monticello Fire Department Project

Photography Served - Monticello Fire Department Project

My set from the Monticello Fire Department photo project is being featured on Photography Served (a Behance network site) today in their #1 spot on their front page. Oscar, from Behance, emailed me today to inform me of the feature. Pretty cool as that site gets a lot of traffic and features some top artists. Give it a lurk if you haven't seen my fire department project yet.

Wedding Boutique Promo Cards

Wedding Boutique Promo Cards

They look so fresh in person. I hope these will be a hit when I pass them out to local wedding boutiques. They were not cheap!

I have them printed on enhanced linen paper with a UV coating to help protect them. Colors came out perfect too. I tried to get a shot of the linen texture in the bottom image, but I don't have a macro lens. This is as best as I can do with what I have.

Check out the digital render of the prints to see both sides clearly.
