Blind Seat Lug Slot
I asked the builder to have a forward facing slot on the seat tube. During construction, he forgot, put the slot in the rear, then remembered. So, he brazed an external sleeve on the seat tube and put the slot on the front.
Now there's a "blind" slot on the backside, visible from the inside of the tube. I think that's shoddy workmanship. The least I would have expected would be to fill the slot with braze, then finish flush. It's really a cosmetic issue, but hack work from my customer point of view.
