    I didn't care for the last post, so I re-worked the very last picture in this series. This time the color changes were kept to a minimum, and the edits were primarily in the appearance of light: a hand-painted vignette was used to change the overall brightness, while a contrast enhancing layer was used to bring attention to the mouth and nose. Finally, I painted in the highlights and shadows using a 50% grey layer set to overlay mode. (Especially around the nose.)

      You have wonderful talent--both in your photography AND in the 'digital darkroom.' I like how you can make the photograph have a 'dark' look but yet it doesn't seem depressing. This one looks 3D. Well done--as is all of your work!
