Roadkill

    A bit goulish I suppose, but it's the closest I've ever been to a blue tit, and its feathers look so beautiful, even whilst it's dead.

      A friend of mine knocked a blue tit out of the sky with a champagne cork. "Open it in the garden" we'd said " much safer". We picked it up and put on the shed, and an hour later it had gone. So either it recovered or became a sort of ready meal for a cat.

      Wow, what a way to go!. Maybe this one too was the result of a flying Champagne cork from someone's picnic over the hedge :)
