Berried in Snow

The side of a plowed road in Sälen, Sweden. The names of the roads on the signs are Cranberry Road and Lingonberry Path.

Hopefully the photos will increase in frequency, although the cast is still on for another two weeks.

Broken

I had planned to post a photo on Saturday and to say that the blog would be without photos for a week due to a week-long ski break in Sälen, but I never got around to it. So instead here's an x-ray from yesterday of my right wrist after breaking my radius during my first day of trying to snowboard. Whoops!

There's always a first. For me, other than the snowboarding, this is my first broken bone, first cast, and first major trip through the Swedish healthcare system! Photos will be back next week.
