Our Daily Challenge - "Seen from above":

Love this stuff, and yay...it's fixing to flower! Unseasonably warm February day here. Grateful for a few minutes to wander around outside during my lunch break. Also...pretty much SOOC...just adjusted contrast a bit. The colors really are THAT vivid.

Our Daily Challenge - "Empty":

Very different for me, but I'm trying to get out of my box a little more to try new things. I love this antique perfume bottle. It belonged to my grandmother, but I don't know if she ever kept a fragrance in it. I tried several different ways of shooting this and this was my favorite (for today anyway). Set up was on my piano lid in a dark room with a small but powerful flashlight behind the bottle. I used a colored gel over the flashlight. I like it, but you sure can see every imperfection in this old bottle. We're talking OLD...and it shows! lol. I love the geometric patterns.

Our Daily Challenge - "Your own hand":

It's my "baby's" birthday today. What a gift she has been! Wasn't it just a few years ago that she was sad she had to stay behind when her big sister went to school? And now she's a middle school orchestra teacher (has been for about 8 years). Where did the time go? So proud of her! We are blessed that she lives just 10 minutes away, so I can hang out with her a lot. She is my "clone". We even say we share a brain. lol BTW, our other daughter called today so Hannah could "sing" Happy Birthday to Aunt Kawa (Kara)...so stinkin' cute!

Trying to eek out the last little bit of mileage from my roses. This is one of the last ones standing. Also submitting to Cliche Saturday. Seriously...does it get any more cliche than red roses near Valentine's day? It's late and I'm heading to bed. Will be back for comments tomorrow.
