It's 8:30 and I just want to go to get under the covers and read (and sleep). A long day: getting schooled at work, picking up kidlet, running home, a play at hubby's school.

I love how she is making friends in the neighborhood. No one was out tonight, but it all reminds me of my very free range childhood.

Problem avoidance. Or else there isn't a problem at all and I just can't wrap my head around that possibility.

Being well rested made me fidgety all day. That excess energy didn't do me many favors at work, but it would have had I been at home.

Mother's Day.

I received flowers and champagne (from hubby), earrings and a poem (from Ruby), and love from both. I took Ruby and myself out for a milkshake. I was supposed to work, but it fell through and I called it my 'get out garage cleaning free' card. Knit, nap, thai food take out...pretty damn good day.
